I have addressed women from early 20's to late 80's; I have travelled from Cape Town to Pretoria, to Johannesburg and back again. I guess I have personally addressed close to 1,000 women this month. The party comes to an end. Will people slip back into unconsciousness? Will women forget their rights , responsibilities and rewards? Will men continue to be men in the same violent way? What have we learned tis month?

Tonight was the last Pillowtalk with Natalie Becker and I on Good HopeFM. Three years later, many hours curled up in our chairs in the same studio, sharing, becoming good friends in between taking calls and e mails from listeners. I feel sadness as this beautiful woman, this deeply kind and generous woman, leaves "our" space on Pillowtalk for greener pastures.

400 plus women poured into the Cape Milner Hotel. Despite rain, freezing temperatures and the seduction of warm beds and maybe even bodies, women arrived to learn, laugh and cry together. I find it totally invigorating, stimulating, absorbing to listen to women's stories but when over 400 women have stories to tell it is as if the whole world is filled with women and their pain.
