I emerge from my cocoon of writing and joyfully enter my therapy room for a few hours before returning to my self created womb. What are you up to this first Monday 2009? I imagine people feeling anything from slothful, to highly energised as they look around their familiar spaces and faces.

I know some of you are at home. We can track visits on to the site and of course the store orders leave me imagining you sitting in front of your computers, browsing through the gorgeous toys, and making choices. I play in my mind: I wonder why that person bought that toy?

I know its Xmas as the calendar says so, because I see my neighbours beautiful Xmas lights shining through her windows, and I know my friends are cooking & sharing with loved ones. Also because the last few days in my therapy room there has been much discord and tension around families and Xmas.

I arrive home to the birth of my gorgeous new site - it is so gratifying to see the culmination of months of team work. This is just the beginning of many new functions we have in mind for you .Remember to re- register- I know it's a hassle but its what the system requires. Let me know what you think about it. At this time every year I go to Onrus , Cape, where I workshop with a group of about 100 youth leaders from the youth movement HABONIM. They themselves are between the ages of 18-24 years old. They are preparing to receive about 1,000 youth, age 9-18 , from all over the country. Part of their mandate as youth leaders is to have a mandate, a mission statement , on the organisation's core values round sexuality, reproduction and relationships.

Reflection, reverie, remembrance ; falling in and out of love; holiday romances filled with hope of forever after amidst the rocks of Clifton Beach; romantic getaways that you will probably regret with every sip of pina colada or another fancy cocktail of which i know nothing about , as you catch a glimpse of the market shares sky rocketing. Being duped by the government - I wonder who their psychological advisor is - they probably don't have one- only a consumer advisor . I mean is it not cruel to drop petrol prices now and hint at an interest rate drop early next year- just before the madness of festive season begins? Of course it will increase "consumer confidence" and get people to spend money they do not have only to suffer once the hang over is over and sobriety arrives in January in the form of school uniforms, school and university fees and credit card interest to pay -- pay way until next madness time of December 2009.
