I have declared March the month of "Confessions." I guess it is the American influence of having watched Dr. Phil, Oprah, Tyra and many other talk shows that all blend into one huge-- confession. I bleed seeing the impact of confessions on partners who profess not to know. Knowing that confessing requires bravery, fear or merely a need to vomit. I have a confession to make..
Behind the scenes we are developing a new, completely unique, web site. In keeping with technology and science, I have had analysts analyse the site and based on this , much brain storming with a team of smart people, have come up with a new site to match Dr. Eve expansion (she is ageing after all:) Mostly we looked at what would be relevant for your needs. We really looked at your relationship with the site and based on your behaviour we were able to get an idea of what you are looking for on the Dr. Eve site.
In this mood of confession I admit to feeling slightly nauseous, massive headaches, an increased need for healing hands on my anxiety ridden body. It is never easy to change, to let go what is familiar. Whether it is moving into an exciting new phase of development, as I am, or recoverign from knowledge of your partner cheating, the pain of change is horrendous. The body rebels against change, it just wants equilibrium restored and so it is that we stay in bad relationships and tolerate bad behaviour for as long as we do. These feelings are too painful to tolerate. But what is stunning about this pain is that it has an ability to shift into pleasure if one can hold on and not revert back to the same-old, same-old.
I has a light bulb moment this week: hearing couples easily discuss separation as they are "Unhappy" with each other. Yes, simply , I am no longer happy with you nor you with me so best we part. Amazing that "happiness" is treasured as a reason for leavign a relaitonship. I shall write an article about my thoughts on this so watch out for that- on new site.
