For those who know me, know me to be loyal and committed, whether to a person or a project - and of course I only take into my life people and projects for whom I have passion - and compassion. As a result of this much outpouring of passion, energy and resources I end up depleted  - and much satiated. However these last few weeks of Womens month activities have allowed the bacteria in my body to thrive and grow abundantly. I am now in recovery from a bronchial infection which has taken my breath away.

So frustrating for me, someone who has so much to say and many platforms from which to say the things I want to say, to provoke other people to say, after thinking about my provocative comments.

Of course a bunch of bacteria could not keep me down and I have gained so very much from the many women- and some men- I have engaged with the last few weeks. The Womens Arts Festival was an event long to be remembered by me - the incredible generosity of forum participants, sponsors , and people who shared at workshops. This vision belongs to Marlene le Roux, Director of audience education and development at Artscape. I encourage you to pour into Artscape next year for a creative experiential event of art, mixed with important discussions that men and women need to keep having with each other. Thank you to those who came and enriched all our lives through your contributions.

Next stop for me is television this week- a day recording "No Reservations"- watch out for that on Wed nights at 8pm. And then we are pumping for The Women's Show in JHB at the Coca Cola Dome. be sure to come and say Hi and join in the fun. I have ordered new toys for the occasion so come along and get real life demos and a personal service by one of my well trained Reps to help assist you to buy what you really need and desire.
