Cathy is a masterful photographer who mastered me from the moment I walked into her photographic studio. It takes skill to get a woman to fall in love with her body , any body. And Cathy has skill up to her beautiful eye balls to make this happen . Cathy's ease and grace with herself and her client- me- enabled me to go through a process of undress and movement in my body which made me want more- and even more. More feeling this beautiful under the eye of Cathy's camera with no sense of inhibition.
And once I saw the photographs- all black and white - it seemed surrealistic that the beautiful images were me. I have placed a discreet, very cropped photo from Cathy's magic photography, of myself on the home page. I want to show them to the world as pieces of beautiful art. I, most publicaly private DR. EVE, have asked Cathy to use on eof my photos to display in her studio. I want to encourage other women to know their beauty through Cathy's lens. I plan to frame all 6 images and look at them daily to remind myself of how wonderful a woman can still look as she ages. As I age.
We enter a time of generosity towards others and spoiling of self. I urge you: give boudoir photography a s a gift to yourself first. Then to every woman you know- from old, older, able bodied, to dis abled to young and shy. It shifted me in an unexpected way, it caught me off guard. I am forever different - and adore this feeling of renewed appreciation of my older body and face.
