n and yet more women. I am out and about and meeting all kinds of women. I continue to be fascinated how women gathering unleashes a confidential intimate permissive environment - women allow themselves to spill the beans. And no it's not because I am Dr. Eve and they know I talk sex. Its because women across the globe have been healing through talking in women circels since man first stood up and went hunting.
I gaze across the room of every stage on which I am invited to talk, and like to make eye contact with the group before me. I wonder what they want to hear me say. Its really not about what I want to talk about - that's dull - it's more about what they want and need to hear. So I begin talking about what I feel like in the moment -yes of course there is preparation before hand - but it happens that I look across a room and just know its not going to work in this environment. As soon as it is warm, there is some relaxing, I begin inviting engagement of the guests. Being provocative in a hugley scientific way of course, like saying "Women between the ages of 21-35 have a lower sex drive than any other age, and are on a par with menopausal women" gets women to sit up and listen -- and then its too irresistible not to want to know more.
Moreeda, my PA and highly well trained Rep, comes along with bags of toys - it is part of my deal with anyone I contract with - my Reps and toys come with me. No its not about making money - that is a byproduct - the real reason is that it falls within my paradigm within which I work which is human/sexual rights. Few women feel comfortable going into a sex store in this country and thus loose thier right to have access to sex toys and sexual health products. My role and the role of my Reps is to educate and personalize this service for women - and men if they are around.
It is quite indescribable for me- as well as for my Reps- to see the difference, it makes to women, offering them this opportunity to talk openly (there are always private spaces to consult with me at funtions ) and get advice as to what toy/product I recommend for their unique needs. Imagine being disabled, needing a sex toy, but not being able to tell this to your care giver. Think about women who have never had orgasms or live with men who are lazy lovers, have chronic illnesses and struggle to be interested in sexual play. Come to one of my gigs and you are sure to be given fullattention and your individual needs addressed so respectfully.
