Play of all kinds gives one much needed respite from the drudgery of routine, the very routine we need to keep us in line the whole year and give our day definition. Play gives you a break from the same thoughts, from work, which always feels heavy as I say it. And at this time fo the year I get to play a little more on radio - of course I am always going to talk about the responsiblities of safer sex - but I can talk about sex at partys or sex toys. I did this great show on radio702/Cape Talk on Friday nght. The reason I agreed to doing this late night gig as the talkshow host was Eusebius McKaiser. I met him a few weeks ago at Genderdynamix Transgender Medical conference. Eusebius is an ethicist, philosopher who teaches at Wits University adn ahs a regualr gig on radio 702/cape Talk every Sunday night, 11pm. He is sooo smart, lovely man, and quite wonderful to enter into discussion with him. On Friday night we spoke about the Institution of Marriage- as much as we all complain about it, cheat on it, betray our vows, I beleive it is in principle a necessary instituion - we people kinda cock it up.
