50 women arrived , ribboned in red. Excited, yet aware that the party was about raising our awareness of World Aids Day and 16 Days of Activism of no violence against women. Shandor Theron, a family lawyer, gave freely of his time, to educate the women about their rights - and most every woman had a quesiton, a complaint about domestic violence - I can only conjecture as to why... then the fun began..

Condom demostrations, a treausure hunt, give aways- each woman went home with a red ribboned gift containing a sex toy plus condoms and lubes- of course:) which they received on arrival. I was overwhelmed by the many questions these women had, how wonderuflly open the discussion was, from douching vaginas to anal sex and safer sex between women loving women. And then these women shopped in earnest- I love women who invest in their sexuality and sexual health and are willing to throw shyness to the wind and buy that toy because they want an orgasm.
