What really arouses you? Do you find it difficult to share your true sexual triggers with a partner?
Perhaps you have joined the millions of men and women who seek sex online as this has become the one true place in which they can anonymously get the sex they seek. Let's face it, sexual disclosures are risky, stigmatizing and thus kept secret by many people. It seems going online offers a safe place in which people can get down and boogy without the skandaal associated with sharing thier very core sexuality.
A study by Sevcikova and Daneback published in Sexual and Relationship Therapy( vol 26,2,may 2011) offers fascinating insights into how people use online sex oriented contact sites to establish sexual contacts. They conclude that sex orientated contact web sites expand users opportunities for sexual interaction. Sexual contacts can remain purely online or can be taken offline. However it is clear that both online and offline sexual behavious are disinhibited.
Think about your own online sexual behaviours: check the boxes in the upcming poll to test where your online interest lies. It makes sense that online people can ask for more kinds of sex, express more of their own sexuality as it can all disappear with a click of a button. The challenge remains in bringing your true sexuality into a relationship without fear of judgement, abandonment and disrespect.
