Despite this utter fatigue I need to share with you fresh images and thoughts of Sexpo. Images that stand out for me are of breasts that stand in front of the chests of too young women( do their parents know where their children are??!) ; penises that bulge in front of men who are hairless and smile so sweetly when complimented on their large size. A wonderful "exotic dancer/trapeze artist" who did the most fabulous things in the air suspended only on a piece of material- and her breasts never moved once! Amazing..
A few visits to Mavericks closed private tent to watch strip acts. Seeing the expressions, of lust and horny frustration on the faces of the audience was way more interesting than the actual strippers- women bored, playing on a pole, trying to look so sophisticated and seemingly unimpressed with the experience they were providing people hungry for a sexual thrill. Do their parents know how they spend time?? I am definitely giving my ageing away as I am in no way anti stripping or naked women - they just look too young
Clearly the most thrilling experience for me was the privilege of meeting you- people who came to honour me , thank me for the learning I bring to them, the appreciation of my books, words, voice that gives them a safe and professional safety to explore and enjoy their sexuality. And of course the difference this brings to their relationships. My joy of seeign a couple pregnant who had not yet consummated their marriage when they entered my therapy room;the client who is now divorced and thanked me for facilitating this process for him-- and so the list goes on- 4 long days of listening to stories, offering counsel and heart to the many people who approached me, I thank you.
Delightful surprise of Sexpo: so many ageing people -yay!, so many women alone or in groups of women, yes to empowerment of women and the pimply boys who were giggly and loved the free lube and condoms we handed out. And the varied response to the sex toys - clearly sex toys are becoming a necessity in women and couples lives, or so they seem to think so by the alacrity and enthusiasm shown.
For people who came to Sexpo I hope you pushed your envelope a little . I wish you did something that made you somewhat uncomfortable but incredibly free and proud of yourself once you did it. Like the shows that happened late at night- the public strip shows - what an amazing experience to witness: young men and women shedding clothes on stage, unconcerned re size or shape , just did it!
I thank my girls - Dr. Eve's Girls- Chi, Emily, Taby, Michelle, Theresa and Nikki my right hand girl who were stunning professional women who strutted their stuff as they educated people for 4 days. They won the award for the best dressed staff at Sexpo - Watch out for photo on site as well as details of Simone who dressed them in latex.
As for me I guess the personal surprise was at the open invitations I received from men - from being paid to be a partner to a man who wants to learn how to have multiple orgasms practising Daoism, to a possible affair with a poor-me-man who has a -too-conservative-wife. I wondered what gave these men to invade my boundaries in this way - then I remembered I was standing at Sexpo, an erotic space that offers people just this - permission to push their boundaries,to be free in expressing their sexuality- clearly we need to build in lessons at Sexpo on appropriate management of sexual freedom
I pushed my boundaries, did something I have not yet done before. I cannot yet share as it is a surprise for my man, a surprise he will love to unwrap in his usual attentive and appreciative manner.. so you have to hold your breath, as I do, until his return in a few days time. My arnica bath awaits me. Have a good safe sexy week.
