I am married to my wife for 19 years. we have 3 beautiful children. I recently discovered that my wife had a affair with my friend. This affair, according to her started in 2005, became physical at the beginning of 2006. she says she ended the sexual intercourse in 2006, but continued to have an email relationship with him. I discovered this by accident via printed emails. when I confronted her about it she denied but later confessed. I also discovered that her diary states thet she loves this man very much but wanted it to stop as he is also married.

After discovery she claims that she do no love him, what she said in her diary was how she thought she felt at the time. She said this after he told her that he only used her for sex. She now says that she never stopped loving me and that she does not want our marriage to end. She says she is sorry for the pain she coursed.

How do I know she is telling the truth. Is she not just saying so to save face or because he is not showing any interest. I have this constant images of the 2 of them together. What do I do?
