Dr. Eve Answers:
I recently attended a lecture by Prof John Dean, UK sexual medicine consultant , chairperson of ESSM (European Society for Sexual Medicine) and highly respected professional in the field of sexual medicine. He shared the horrid reality about over-the-counter pills, creams, gels etc. They fall into 3 categories: counterfeits, imitations (it damn sure looks like Viagra but its probably got road tar and blue paint inside it) and analogs. Analogs are the "natural" alleged herbal aphrodisiacs. Like the names of the pills you mention. Prof Dean shared that by year 2010, sales of these medicines are projected to total $50 billion in worldwide sales.
Why am I ,and so many other concerned people, so opposed to these medicines? They are plain and simple dangerous. They have not been subjected to scientific clinical trials thus they are not supported by evidence based medicine. In other words there is no proof that they are what they say they are, the side effects are unknown and you have no comeback as no science behind it. I am opposed to them as they feed into your insecurities, promise you the world and of course will not work in a sustainable manner once the placebo effect wears off.
In your case, the fact that you are looking at these pills tells me that you are having erection problems. Science informs us that erection problems are a sign of probable heart disease. taking these pills will delay you getting proper medical care. I advise you to put your money back in your pocket and make a consultation to see a urologist asap
