Sex is only "sick" once someone else defines it as "sick" For a very long time masturbation was defined in the world of sexual health as being "sick". No longer is it classified medically as "sick" or "abnormal". Consider that masturbation is usually the first sexual relationship a person has and it happens to be with themselves - why is that so bad??
It is your sexual right to masturbate. It is a relationship with yourself you wish to con tinue - and why not. You state that you continue to have a "good sex life' with your wife, thus your masturbatory behavior is not taking you away from pleasure /fun time dates with your wife.
The word "addiction" is bandied around way too much, unde the guise of "sexual health". Move away from that notion. Research indicates that people who are having great sexual relationships tend to masturbate more since they feel horny a lot more often. Consider a person surviving cancer- how wonderful to make masturbation part of your sexual health regime, whether alone or within a relationship. Its always healthy to oxygenate the penis through masturbation as well as the vulva/vagina.
I do hope that it is not porn you are "addicted" to, that your masturbation is not an excuse to view porn and if your using porn, that the porn is held in a rational way- that is, that it is only porn and not to be compared to the sex within your relationship.
