My wife & I,(over 60) are still sexually active, however, we face the "problem" of stimulation.
During the last Jo'burg sex exposium at Gallagher Estates, I wasn't surprised that many over 60's went there and in fact phoned in to your Friday radio 702 sex show, telling of the problem.
Wouldn't it be a (good) idea to have DSTV porn channel available at no/low cost for use by people like us ?
Why not carry out a survey, representing the older set, to establish whether the programme could actually have a healthy use ?

What a delicious provocative idea! Imagine if I sent a motivating letter to DSTV saying in the name of good evidence based sexual medicine older people need porn in order to better their sexual health; that images of sexuality heighten their naturally flagging desire and arousal - and in fact I beleive the channle should be sponsored by Discovery Health and that anyone who tunes in, gets extra vitality points- way to go...!!
In truth I have been deeply involved in this discussion - not with DSTV, but another payperchannel. Unfortunately fear overrides sensibility when it comes to sexuality. After a year of negotiations the risks of legal suing and pure fear overrode what I continue to think is a wonderful idea.
Whilst you awaiting a porn channel to get you aroused, I hope you have been to a medical specialist to check both you and your wife out . Any cardio vascular diseseases, hormonal imbalances, depression, medications and poor life style will disadvantage your sexual health.
And of course I urge you both to strongly invest in some sex toys which will give you extra va voom needed as one ages. For you, break out into an anal toy- classy and will certainly arouse you. For your wife I recommend a genital circus - full on genital stimulation. These toys will promote your sexual health in addition to giving you hours of sexual pleasure.

"TopTV’s holding company, On-Digital Media (Pty) Ltd, has submitted an application to Icasa for the authorisation of three additional video channels, with the intent to broadcast adult content on these additional channels. They will carry a strictly enforced R18 age restriction, and will only be accessible as a secure, encrypted and separate subscription package on the pay-TV platform.
The additional channels will carry the highest degree of security and, because these are only available as a separate subscription, will not otherwise be accessible to the TopTV subscriber. Potential subscribers will need to provide proof that they are over the age of 18, and viewing of the channels will require the input of a unique, four-digit PIN code to access the content. Subscription to the channels will require a conscious financial decision by the subscriber.
