I kind of understand the fundamental difference between a vibrator and a dildo but I will be a first time user and would like to know what would be ideal and maybe a recommendation of a good product. What would be a better choice and within my price range of under R400?

I love first time “toy virgins”! Welcome to a brave new world where women own their bodies, their sexuality and as a result feel much more sexually positive, confident and satisfied.
Simply a vibrator is a toy that vibrates as opposed to a dildo that does not vibrate. All vibrators are used for internal and external stimulation whilst dildos are all internal toys. Deciding on the toy for you is dependant on your age, stage and of course health. Plus budget!
As all women want and need clitoral stimulation clitoral vibrators are the most popular toy.
For example I like for first timers a Pocket Rocket Jr., or a Layaspot which hugs the vulva and gives you a diffusion of sensation. Petite is the same principle as is Superbe. The expensive Lelo range has Mia which is one of my firm favorites. Internal vibes for beginners will include any of the Evolved range - really gorgeous and effective. And of course Lelo has Gigi, Liv and Lily which are superb toys. Try out the fun egg, O-Gasmo. Dildos include Smartballs.
Get into the shop and go into the different categories for a comprehensive explanation of each toy.
