Dr. Eve answers
I am incredulous – imagine finding 365 excuses for keeping a top on during sex??!! Your story makes me feel so sad. And it is not uncommon among women – the self concsiouness, the fear of being rejected for not being perfect, not having perfect skin , shape or size.
I understand that you feel disadvantaged believing that as he has no experience of kids, he will not “get” that your stretch marks are normal. The longer you act in shame and draw attention to your body through wearing the blouse, the more he will be alerted to the fact that there is something strange happening under that blouse. You are shooting yourself in the foot.
Your stretch marks will fade with age, but they are there, now permanent reminders of the wonder of you birthing a child- nothing shameful in that. I urge you to look at them, massage cream into your stretch marks, get to love them. Then unveil them to him - and allow him to se pleasure you can get from having that part of your body touched, caressed. Kissed. And if he leaves you for a bunch of stretch marks then he wasn’t worth keeping.
